Viper Beam Clamp Features

This beam clamp is known as the Viper VBC.

Each model is able to fit a range of beam widths thanks to its adjustability.

The 1000 & 2000kg models adjust from 75mm to 220mm. The 3000 & 5000kg options will fit beams from 80mm up to 320mm. The largest 10 tonne model adjusts from 90mm to 320mm.

Because of the design of this heavy duty beam clamp the load is applied away from the flange edges. This helps to reduce stress on these flanges.

The central screw pin has an easy to use lever to make the fitting process easier and ensures a tight fitting and more force can be implied to turn it.

The MBL or minimum breaking load is 4 x the stated maximum working load limit and within the requirements of BS EN 13155.

Other Information

Although a beam clamp is static once fitted to the beam it can quickly and easily removed and re-positioned elsewhere on the beam. Remember though, you should remove any attached equipment before attempting to move it.

If you would prefer a trolley which you can push across the beam, hoist, load and all then consider the Delta push travel trolley. For around £10 more for the smallest model your loads can be moved to the required position whenever you like.
