Duplex Web Sling Benefits

A duplex web sling has many benefits when compared to other lifting slings like the chain variety.

They are of course softer yet incredibly strong and flexible.

Duplex web slings or flat webbing straps are made from high tensile polyester materials. They are double thickness for optimum strength and durability.

The soft lifting eyes at each end have an extra wear layer since this is where they will attach to the loading hook of a lifting hoist. This offers better protection against wear and abrasion to the web sling.

Because of the material that our web slings are manufactured from they are UV and moisture resistant. They are light in weight and have low elongation properties.

Web Slings Available

Safe working load lifting capacities range from 1 tonne up to 10 tonnes.

There are a number of length options from 1 to 12 metres and the widths will vary according to the capacity chosen. Please refer to the specifications below to see all the details.

The industry standard colour coding applies to our web slings for quick and easy identification of the SWL.

Purple slings are 1 tonne

Green slings are 2 tonne

Yellow slings are 3 tonne

Grey slings are 4 tonne

Red slings are 5 tonne

Brown slings are 6 tonne

Blue slings are 8 tonne

Orange slings are 10 tonne

Each sling is also clearly labelled with all the required information including the SWL in the different slinging methods, serial numbers for traceability, CE mark and effective working length.
