Tipping Hoist Bucket Explained
With a tipping hoist bucket you could lift the buckets full of mortar, sand or gravel for example to the level of the building where they are required.
Thanks to the quick release mechanism the bucket can then be tipped over to release its contents. All whilst still being attached to the lifting hoist.
These buckets can also be utilised for taking loads back to the ground at the end of the day. Whether this is rubbish, tools or excess loose materials.
Made from steel these buckets incorporate a pivoting handle for ease of emptying without the need to disengage from the hoist. Simply release the safety catch and push the bucket over to empty.
Of course this method is certainly easier physically when compared to carrying and emptying a standard bucket full of heavy materials, safer too!
Positioned centrally on the bucket handle there is a fixed lifting point for fitting onto the load hook of a lifting hoist. Its central position together with good, even load distribution, means that gravity will remain pretty centralised for good stability. Whilst also reducing the risk of loosing some of the loaded material.
Hoist Bucket Sizes
We currently offer two sizes of these tippable hoist buckets. The smallest has an 80 litre capacity with a maximum safe working load of 176kg. The largest a 150 litre capacity with a 330kg safe working load limit.
The 80L tipping bucket measures up at 600mm wide, 500mm deep and 370mm tall (not Inc. handle)
The 150L hoist bucket measures 680mm wide, 600mm deep and 420mm high (without handle)
These tipping hoist buckets are typically used with a builders scaffold hoist or gantry hoists on construction sites. Although they could be used efficiently in other areas. They work perfectly with our HE235 and HE200 Scaffold Hoists.
